As featured recently in the EDP (read the full article here), we were approached by this client to provide inspiration and assistance in redeveloping a city centre property he was purchasing.
Our client’s preference was for something quite contemporary, but given this was a typical Georgian-style property, he also wanted to create something that took the contemporary style he liked whilst, at the same time, enhancing and taking advantage of the high ceilings and roomy space the property offered.
We completed a comprehensive refurbishment programme including open plan living, dining and kitchen areas which complement one another in a stylish yet practical way.
Walnut and leather furniture detailing brings a sense of luxury whilst the contemporary open shelving and bespoke Eggersmann kitchen, complete with quartz detailing and under mounted lighting, adds an individual touch of style.
We also designed, built and installed detailed media and wardrobe cabinetry to both the principle and guest bedrooms and enhanced the functionality of an en-suite with no natural light. A bespoke, fully upholstered wall features in the principle bedroom. As our client needed to work from home occasionally we installed a small desk which doubles as a dressing table in one of the bedrooms and designed the internal cabinetry layout in such a way that the bespoke wardrobe and media cabinet also provided discreet office storage too.
