We've been in the house for about an hour and I don't really know where to start - needless to say tomorrow we'll be leaving a nauseatingly glowing review on every available platform, but we cannot believe how fantastic everything looks! We are both insanely grateful to you and your team for pulling off basically a miracle; so much so that "thank you" doesn't begin to cut it! The house is absolutely stunning, and you really have exceeded all of our expectations by miles. Paula and Lou redesigned our lounge, kitchen and dining area; a large space with high ceilings that always felt clinical and disjointed. Paula & Lou helped bring together our two very different tastes and ideas, finding colour palates, textures and furniture that we both loved. We were reassured that Paula's team considered not only how the space would look, but also how we would use it. We were kept informed as the project progressed and enjoyed a day of total transformation when the furniture was delivered, cabinetry installed and curtains put up meaning that we could immediately use our wonderful new space. Our brief was to redesign a sitting and dining area, which formed part of a relatively recent extension. We had always felt the room wasn’t quite finished. We struggled for ideas on how to do it justice and create a wow factor. Paula and her team fully grasped the brief - which included devising an innovative solution to deal with a redundant fireplace - and we have been delighted with the results. If you’re stuck for ideas, thinking about cream curtains or you are just not around to do the job then get help! Get an interior designer but choose Paula Gundry! I work abroad so just left Paula my door keys and e-mail address and after exchanging ideas I now have the most amazing wood floor and a settee you won’t find in John Lewis! All done without ever being there, at a pace that suited me but I was updated all the time through e-mail. Oh yes curtains too (squirrel grey!), lights, coffee table and a very stylish tv cabinet. All work, materials and furniture are of the highest quality. I can’t thank Paula and her team enough. People are amazed when I tell them I chose and did it all by myself!!!
